Associate Consultant | Jim Alsip served as Library Director of the Grace A. Dow Memorial Library, Midland, MI, 1996-2000. Prior to that post he was Manager, Management & Government Information Library, Prince William County Library, Prince William, VA, 1994-1996. He now serves as associate consultant for PROVIDENCE Associates and as co-director of LIA Associates, San Antonio, TX, 1988.

His consulting and training development activities include the development of customer service programs to improve staff delivery of service, secret shopper surveys to evaluate service level of employees, and technology planning programs.
